The galvanizing process is generally treated with chemical solution, and pickling should be carried out before galvanizing, in order to clean the iron oxide generated on the surface of forging and facilitate the subsequent adhesion of the zinc layer. There are always some overlapping places where the chain links of the lifting chain are connected to each other, so the lifting chain is generally immersed in the chemical solution of galvanized, so that each position of the chain can be exposed to the solution, and sufficient chemical reactions can be carried out to quickly form a zinc layer on the surface. After galvanizing, blanking, cooling and drying procedures should be carried out, so that the coating is more uniform and the adhesion is stronger. The galvanized chain has a smoother surface and better quality.
Generally, regular manufacturers will be galvanized after the chain is produced, because the galvanized chain has stronger rust and corrosion resistance than the chain that has not been galvanized, and the performance is better in daily use. But this does not mean that there is no need for maintenance, or to do a good rust treatment, to avoid use and storage in places with damp and corrosive gases.
