The chain is one of the most basic components of the bicycle, it can be the spare tire chain of the car to convey your leg strength to the stainless steel chain on the wheel to generate forward power, however, it is usually exposed to the harsh environment of nature, so it needs to be regularly cared for.
What chain oil fits your own chain?

The choice of chain oil largely depends on personal preference, of course, there is a need to note that do not use a lubricant like WD 40 as chain oil, because it will take away the original grease added to the joint.

The choice of the best lubricating oil and the frequency of oiling depends on the use environment. There is a rule of thumb: use a more viscous oil when the moisture is higher, because the higher viscosity is easier to adhere to the surface of the chain to form a protective film. In dry, dusty environments, oils of lower viscosity should be used so as not to easily pick up dust and dirt.

Step 1: Clean
Before adding chain oil you need to clean the dirt on the chain. Use an old cloth to thoroughly clean the surface of the chain, every joint, tension gear and flywheel. Note: Do not use degreasing or any strong acid and alkali detergent, because these detergents will wash away the grease inside the joint, and we once doubted whether we should take professional chain washing equipment to clean, and later thought that it was not necessary.

Step two: Apply chain oil

Now that you've cleaned the transmission, you need to reoil it. Important: Do not add chain oil to the top of the chain, as that is not the main contact with the flywheel.

Step 3: Wipe off excess grease

The more oil on the better is actually a mistake, because too much oil is easy to absorb more dust and dirt to increase the wear of the chain. Therefore, wait 5 minutes after the oil is applied to allow it to fully penetrate into the interior, and then turn the transmission system several times, and then wipe off the excess grease with a dry rag.
