The location and formation reasons of surface scars on stainless steel conveyor chains

I don't know if you have noticed that the surface of the stainless steel conveyor chain will leave scars after being used for a period of time. How can defects such as scars appear on the surface of stainless steel conveyor chains? What are the specific factors?
Generally speaking, the scars on stainless steel conveyor chains we see are usually distributed on the surface of the conveyor chain, and within a certain range, the distance between the head and tail is about 500 millimeters, forming one or more colored, irregularly shaped pits. In fact, there are differences in the likelihood of scars on the conveyor chains of different materials, but in any case, this will seriously affect the appearance and normal use of the chain plates.

What are the reasons why stainless steel conveyor chains avoid scars? The main reason for the failure to completely remove the cutting burrs from the slab is that the work is completed using a special deburring machine, but there may be negligence. Once the burrs are not cleaned, the danger caused by the rolling process is the formation of scars on the surface of the stainless steel conveyor chain.

During the process of cutting stainless steel conveyor chain plates, the return of slag head and tail slag is also a bad phenomenon. When steel slag is severe, it will form a dense and firmly attached surface in the blank area. The formation of steel slag and the improvement of the purity of low-pressure oxygen, as well as the unsuitable or fluctuating cutting life, are all related.

When rolling stainless steel conveyor chain plates, if the roller control is not good, the head and tail of the conveyor chain will affect the side guide plate of the rolling mill, and it will splash into the surface of the stainless steel conveyor chain, forming scars under the influence of the frame.
