Reasons for slipping of stainless steel chain conveyor belt during operation

There are various reasons for the slipping of stainless steel chain conveyor belts during operation, and the common causes and treatment methods are as follows:
1. The frictional force between the stainless steel chain plate and the conveyor belt does not constitute slipping. The main reason is mostly due to water on the conveyor belt or humid environment. The processing method is to add some rosin powder to the drum. But be careful not to use your hands to add it, and use blowing equipment to blow it in to avoid personal accidents.
2. The initial tension is too small. The tension at the detachment of the stainless steel chain plate conveyor belt from the drum is not sufficient to cause the conveyor belt to slip. This situation usually occurs when starting, and the method of handling it is to adjust the tensioning equipment and increase the initial tension.
3. Starting too fast can also cause slipping. At this moment, it can be started slowly. If using a squirrel cage battery, you can jog twice before starting it again, which can also effectively overcome slipping.
4. The tail chain plate bearings of the stainless steel chain plate are damaged and cannot rotate, or there are too many damaged upper and lower roller bearings that cannot rotate. The reason for the damage is that there is too much tail floating and sinking, and there is no timely maintenance and replacement of damaged or rolling insensitive components, which increases resistance and causes slipping.
5. The load on the stainless steel chain plate is too high, and it may slip even when it exceeds the electrical capacity. The beneficial aspect of slipping at this moment is its maintenance effect on electricity. Otherwise, if the electricity is used for a long time, it will be burned down. But in terms of operation, it is a slip accident.
